Mele Kalikimaka!

I know I'm a few days behind, but Merry Christmas/Mele Kalikimaka everyone!! Or Happy Christmas as they say in Harry Potter.

Christmas eve I went for a new personal record of 21miles! I ran down to Lahaina and stopped at Jesse and Lance's place, grabbed some water, ran all the way back up to Napili Plaza, and finished on the highway back to Kahana! I felt great except for the excessive chaffing and at mile 19 or so I got really tired. But I made it!!
That night worked at the Brew Co and the power went out due to the monsoon we were having. It came on and went off and came on and went off and the managers decided that once it came back on they would close the kitchen down. So it did and we packed everything up nice a quick and got to go home a little early! Got back and shared some beers with the roomies! Jon and I took a late night adventure to go Noni Hunting! They're supposedly a super fruit that people use the juice/powder for healthy living. (see christmas part 2)

Christmas morning I woke up and opened a few gifts I had waiting here for me! Then I went into the kitchen and made bacon and eggs for Jon and Levi (Rob was at the girlfriend's). After we ate, the three of us went to Chutes & Ladders, a hike up north. The swell was booming so we couldn't go down to the tidal pool but we had fun regardless! Then we went body surfing at Fleming's Beach and then chilled at the hot tub at the Ritz Carlton. Pretty nice little Christmas Sunday. When we got back I still had 2 hours before I had to be at work so Jon and I packed up the boards and went surfing at Rainbow's. This was the first I've gotten to use the new 10ft Longboard and I LOVED it!!!!! So much fun just cruisin' on that bad-johnny!

In other news, I officially registered for my first marathon! January 22nd! Wicked excited!

All in all, it was a fun filled day and a unique Christmas indeed!!
