After a splendid summer of basking in the sun on the beaches of Cape Cod, I've made a big move to Portland, Maine. Though temporary, I've decided to spend a respite here with my friend Jon. Portland is a pretty active town with lots going on. My first weekend here I jumped into the Shipyard 10k for kicks and didn't do half bad for only running about 15-20miles a week! I also got to see some people from college that I haven't seen since graduation. Always nice to see familiar faces.
I got a job working at Arlberg Ski&Surf and at Five Fifty Five (restaurant) to try and make some loot while I'm here.
Those have been taking up the majority of my time but I still find time for running and surfing and biking and exploring and having tons of fun in general!
My current plans for the future are as follows: Peace out of here for the winter and head to Maui.
...That's it. That's all I've got right now.
Jon has been there a few times now and I figured "why not!?," right?? So we'll see what happens! I think I'll try to sub and work at another restaurant and continue livin' the dream!
I don't know why you'd want to go to Maui after spending some quality time in Portland. no comparison..
